People-Friendly Tech SMS Terms & Conditions

1. PURPOSE OF MESSAGES

We will send you SMS text messages solely for the purpose of multi-factor authentication (MFA) to verify your identity and secure your account. These messages contain one-time security codes required to access your account.

2. CONSENT TO RECEIVE MESSAGES

By providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive automated SMS messages from us for authentication purposes. This consent is not a condition of purchase or use of our services, though it may be required to access certain secure features.

3. MESSAGE FREQUENCY

You will receive SMS messages only when authentication is required for your account access. Message frequency will vary based on your login activity. You may receive multiple messages per day depending on your account usage.

4. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. We do not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge you for messages and data usage. Please consult your mobile service provider for details about your plan.

5. SUPPORTED CARRIERS

6. NO SALE OR SHARING OF INFORMATION

We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your number is used solely for account security and authentication.

7. SECURITY AND PRIVACY

- Do not share authentication codes with anyone

- Our staff will never ask for your authentication code

- Authentication codes expire after a short period

8. OPT-OUT/UNSUBSCRIBE

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message

12. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the SMS service, including but not limited to account access issues resulting from SMS delivery failures.

13. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

- Provide accurate and current mobile phone number

- Update your account if your number changes

- Keep your authentication codes confidential

- Use authentication codes only for their intended purpose

- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

14. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the SMS service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
